As part of the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston Business Volunteers for the Arts program James helped MYTOWN reposition their ten year-old youth leadership organization. MYTOWN had expanded on its original services of working with urban youth by employing them to research, create and give guided tours of Boston’s Historic Back Bay neighborhood. A new identity was required to allow room for the organization’s planned future growth into additional leadership programs. The new identity was limited to one color and one typeface to provide an uncomplicated do-it-yourself brand for the always evolving MYTOWN staff. For his work on this project James was named Business Volunteers for the Arts program volunteer of the year.
